Sri Lankan Delight – Standard

Day 1 – Airport-Pinnawala-Kandy

Arrive at Colombo International Airport where our representative will welcome you and assist with your transfer to Kandy in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle.

En route, visit the famous Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, one of Sri Lanka’s most loved wildlife attractions. Home to rescued and orphaned elephants, this sanctuary offers visitors a chance to watch elephants bathing, feeding, and roaming freely in a natural environment.

Continue your journey with a visit to a traditional Sri Lankan Spice and Herbal Garden where you can learn about the cultivation and medicinal benefits of spices such as cinnamon, saffron, pepper, ginger, nutmeg, cocoa, and herbal plants used in Ayurveda.

In the evening, enjoy an optional Kandy Cultural Show featuring traditional Kandyan dances, fire performances, drum shows, and local cultural entertainment.

Later, visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites in Sri Lanka and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 2 – Kandy-Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, begin exploring the beautiful city of Kandy including attractions such as Upper Lake Drive, local markets, handicraft centers, and the Gem Museum.

Visit the stunning Royal Botanical Gardens Peradeniya, one of the largest botanical gardens in Asia featuring over 5,000 species of tropical plants, orchids, palm trees, and medicinal herbs.

Later, proceed towards Nuwara Eliya, a scenic hill station famous for tea plantations, waterfalls, and colonial charm.

En route, visit the Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple, an important attraction on Sri Lanka’s Ramayana Trail associated with Lord Hanuman and Goddess Sita.

In the evening, explore the charming city of Nuwara Eliya including Gregory Lake, Victoria Park, colonial buildings, and the famous red-brick post office.

Day 3 – Nuwara Eliya Yala

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before visiting the famous Seetha Amman Temple, believed to be linked to the Ramayana epic and Goddess Sita’s stay in Ashok Vatika.

Continue your journey towards Yala while enjoying scenic stops including Ravana Waterfalls Ella and optional adventure activities like the Flying Ravana Zipline.

Later, proceed for an exciting safari experience at Yala National Park, one of the best wildlife safari destinations in Sri Lanka. The park is home to Sri Lankan leopards, elephants, crocodiles, sloth bears, deer, and over 200 species of birds.

Yala National Park is also one of the top eco-tourism and wildlife photography destinations in South Asia.

After the safari, check into the hotel and relax. Dinner and overnight stay in Yala.

Day 4 – Yala-Colombo

After breakfast, drive towards Colombo and begin exploring Sri Lanka’s bustling capital city.

Your Colombo city tour includes attractions such as Cinnamon Gardens, Independence Square, BMICH, Fort Area, Sea Street, Pettah Market, and the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal.

In the evening, enjoy shopping in Colombo at popular malls and markets including Odel, House of Fashion, Colombo City Centre, One Galle Face, Barefoot, Laksala, and Pettah Bazaar.

Optional nightlife experiences and casino visits can also be enjoyed in Colombo.
