Day 1 – Paro: Arrival, check-in at the hotel and sightseeing
Upon your arrival at Paro Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and relax for a while before beginning your exciting Bhutan journey.
Your sightseeing tour starts with the beautiful Paro Valley, famous for its lush rice fields, peaceful atmosphere, and mesmerizing mountain views. Later, visit the historic Drukgyel Dzong, a ruined fortress built to commemorate Bhutan’s victory over Tibetan invaders. On clear days, travelers can also witness stunning views of the sacred Mount Jomolhari.
After sightseeing, return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay in Paro.
Day 2 – Paro: Explore the Tiger’s Nest
Begin your day with a delicious breakfast before heading for the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery Trek. Also known as Paro Taktsang, this sacred Buddhist monastery is perched dramatically on a cliffside overlooking the valley.
The trek takes approximately 2 to 3 hours and rewards visitors with breathtaking Himalayan scenery and spiritual serenity. According to legend, Guru Rinpoche meditated here after flying to the site on the back of a tigress.
After exploring the monastery and soaking in the stunning surroundings, return to your hotel and relax overnight in Paro.
Day 3 – Chele La Pass: The highest motorable road in Bhutan
After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Chele La Pass, one of the highest motorable mountain passes in Bhutan situated at an altitude of around 3,988 meters. The scenic drive through dense forests offers spectacular views of snow-covered Himalayan peaks including Mount Jomolhari and Jichu Drake.
Later, enjoy a drive to Drukgyel Dzong and explore the rich cultural history of Bhutan. En route, visit the sacred Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most revered temples in Bhutan built in the 7th century.
Return to your hotel in Paro for a relaxing overnight stay.
Day 4 – Paro: Departure
On the final day of your Bhutan Paro tour package, enjoy a hearty breakfast and complete the hotel check-out formalities. You will then be transferred to Paro Airport for your onward journey.
